Accurate Express Movers

PLEASE READ if you plan on booking with Accurate Express Movers. They were extremely friendly and professional over the phone while booking. They promised we would have our stuff within a week max. It took 3 weeks. Which by law they have 21 days so I didn’t make a fuss about that. When they showed up our 65in tv was shattered, our daughter’s nursery mirror shattered and a large picture was also broken. They wrapped all 3 of those things. Again I know stuff breaks so I didn’t make a huge deal about it. However, they lost our very expensive rug that goes in our daughter’s nursery and have no idea where it is. Customer service has been a nightmare to work with and they tell me it takes 120 days to get any results on any claims filed. They also only give you .60 for every pound, which won’t even come close to covering the cost of the rug. And now I can’t get anyone to respond to emails about the missing rug. This company had great reviews so I decide to book with them. If this review stops just one person from booking with them then I will be satisfied.

I previously wrote a review about Accurate Express Movers and how our rug was missing and some items were broken. When the company read the review, they immediately reached out to fix the situation. They truly went above and beyond to get my rug back to me, which I do appreciate. I know during these times things are hard on every business so I do appreciate them taking the time to locate my rug and get it back to me quickly. We have filed an insurance claim for items that were broken during the move (65in TV, mirror and picture) and are we are working through the claims process - their claims policy takes up to 120 days.

We originally had a relocation reserved with another moving company who I feel is best not your name. The company was supposed to show up on a day that we had plans and the night before told us that they could not come. We instantly went into a panic what moving company out there with possibly come and less than 24 hours notice? That company that made it happen was accurate express Movers. Since we are ready had an inventory list written able to save some time hey scrambled their schedule and send out the first available truck out of its route to personally get us. We were shocked and amazed not only because they were able to come by because of the quality of work that they provided. Unfortunately we lost our deposit with the first company we found out later that they were a scammer but even with the money we lost Factored in with the cost of accurate express movers it was still cheaper. You guys made the impossible possible and for that we want to thank you and the only way we knew how will is to write about our experience. God bless you and everybody that works there.

Accurate express movers dispels all the myths about bad another rogue moving companies. They were the most honest and transparent company that we spoke to. They were so polite and patient and extremely focused on every detail. We were afraid to even hire a company after some of the stories we read online but after understanding how the pricing and the process works we felt much better. We had a lot of furniture and everything you would expect to be in a 4 bedroom home. We were charged for only the space we used and not a dollar more which we thought to be more then fair. We spoke to multiple departments within the company and always felt that we were well taken care of. Everything about using them just felt right don’t know how else to say it. So everyone that had a hand thank you for the service. You made life easy and now that the move is behind us just wanted to leave you a great review you earned every bit of it.

If you’re looking for a real moving company that will honor their word then look no more. Accurate Express Movers is that company. Coming from us a family with no moving experience only things we’ve read online and verified through the DOT can say without a second thought they are as professional as they come. They responded to our online request almost instantly and gave us thier background and helped us every day we worked together. From furniture lists to contracts to status updates they did it all. They weren’t the cheapest company and they weren’t the most expensive they fell right in the middle. Price was a factor but we wanted the best price opposed to the best quote. The best quote usually turns into the highest final price and that we were not falling for. I’m summary we got exactly what we wanted and felt it necessary to share our experience. It was a pleasure.

Accurate Express Movers separates themselves really quickly by telling us a few things. Number one they are not a moving broker and number 2 the furniture the truck gets picked up on is the same truck that drops it off. We didn’t want our furniture being switched from truck to truck or sitting in a warehouse or hub until the next truck came trough to avoid excessive movement and damage. The price was right and the delivery fast. We carefully inspected every dingle piece and never found a scratch. They work together and extremely clean. We had no mess to clean up after they took it all with them. Once they were gone we ran a vacuum and mopped the floor and our home was ready for the next owners. I am not somebody who believes in coincidences. I am also somebody who has never used a long distance moving company before. We came across this company while going to research a different one and called them basically by accident. At this point we had already gotten a few quotes and were relatively happy with what we had. We decided to get an estimate from them as well because why not. We learned so much from one phone call that I feel the other movers left our intentionally just to charge us later to present as the cheaper company. They worked off of our same list we had and they fine tuned it. Most of the things the other companies were charging for they gave us for free as well as explaining in great detail what to expect. They gave us a se our discount and made us change our mind after seeing their bottom line. Sometimes the best things just make their way to you and the move went perfect. Accurate Express Movers runs a fantastic business! Moving is stressful, and issues may certainly arise, but when choosing Accurate they always work to ensure that you're happy with your move. Everyone that I talked to from the company was friendly, responsive, and pragmatic. I talked to real people whose names I learned quickly as they were able to answer any questions I had, from the moving quote to the final delivery day. We did the full-service move, and the packing and loading process was a breeze. Our belongings arrived in the the exact same quality as they were shipped, including the expensive, high-end PC, monitors, TV, paintings, etc. There is no doubt in my mind that this Accurate Express Movers takes better care of their customer's than any of the other big moving companies out there. If we move again, we know who to call!

Accurate express movers it was a company that kept popping up on all of our mover searches. They were always available to talk and happy to answer all of our questions. We felt that times as if we were annoyance or to them this is just every day business and told us to not hesitate to call with even the slightest concern or question. Between the sales representative and the customer service agent they took care of all our power back end needs. They spoke with the superintendent of the building we were moving into an even reserve the elevator times for us. They provided all the documentation necessary for the building so the truck would have a place to park and a time slot to work within. We decided to do the boxes are self to save a little bit of money but they still loaded and unloaded them all. We went from being very nervous to feeling very assured that we had picked the right company because we absolutely did. This is a company that is very well structured And I’m sure will be in business for many more years doing the same type of work.

Just wanted to extend a huge thank you to the entire staff at accurate express movers. You’re the most detailed company that we spoke to and never cut a single corner. Our main concern was that her items were arrive safely in the same condition that they were in without being infected by the outbreak. We spoke with everyone within the company and we’re assured that they filed all the states guidelines as they traveled about the country. The last thing they need is a company is for an employee to get sick so they take the same exact measures. They were the first company to respond to our request so naturally we spent the most amount of time with them. The tedious process there any end saved us more than a few hundred dollars. We wanted to find a location that we can retire early and have a bunch of land and just so happened that I fell into our lap. We ended up finalizing with them on the first phone call to lock in a date as well as our rates. Is the busiest time of year which means the most expensive time of year so it’s important to do yourself a favor and reserve early and adjust later. Thank you thank you thank you you have no idea what this relocation has meant to us stay safe and stay strong.

After recently beating this coronavirus I started to look at life from a new perspective. There was no more time for the hustle and bustle it was time to appreciate life and take a step back. Fortunately I was in a position to do so I decided to retire and move across country. There was only one problem I had no idea how to get that done. The first thing I did was go onto the Internet and research some moving companies I came across accurate express movers and decided to give them a call. I was impressed from the first phone call from how much knowledge they had about this industry in the best ways to save me money. I didn’t have a lot of money to work with but I had somewhat of a budget and the final price I was given fell within it. Explain to me in great detail you should every step of the move and have it would be worked out. They stay true to their word and didn’t charge me an extra dollar. The furniture showed up in pristine condition and there was no garbage left behind. They made my life incredibly easy in the least I can do with show my appreciation on a website like this.

Accurate express movers was the mover we hoped to find. .The way they handle their customers and speak to people yes with respect honesty and Complete professionalism. I’ve never used a moving company before so I had no idea what to expect or how the process even worked. They were happy to work with me through all my questions and all my concerns and overtime we developed a nice relationship. They were able to ship our vehicles as well as our household goods which was an added bonus. Finding an honest moving company is like finding a good mechanic and if there’s one thing I took away from this whole situation is that this is my reliable mechanic. They are highly reputable and review speak for themselves we would be happy to do business with them again.

Accurate Express was fantastic. They were so helpful in helping us set up our relocation in a way that was affordable and accurate. The estimator we worked with was very experienced and educated us a lot as far as what to look for in each estimate and how to research each and every company we spoke with. They were honest and upfront and on top of all the details from big to small. We’ve had moves in the past but never went as well as this one did. They asked so many questions and disclosed each and every cost up front so there would be no move day surprises. We had no idea where to start when it came to finding the right interstate moving company for us. We searched the internet and came across Accurate Express. They were extremely professional and you had to talk to the every day person. They made the process very easy to follow any estimate was just as easy to read. Most of the other companies we spoke to were trying to force us into making a reservation deposit on our first phone call without even reviewing her estimate which was definitely a turn off for us. We are the type of people that want to see it in writing take her time even sleep on it before making a decision that involves thousands of dollars. They gave us the space and the resources to meet a decision that would best fit our relocation. There was never a time when we were overwhelmed with phone calls and emails. They gave us the resources to make a decision herself and decide exactly what we wanted and since we are flexible we were able to save additional money on top of it. They are five star mover by far and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a standup company. Call for yourself and see.

DO NOT TRUST THIS MOVING COMPANY!

I COULD NOT IMAGINE HAVING A WORSE MOVING EXPERIENCE IF I TRIED!

We recently used Accurate Express Movers to move from FL to Chicago. I did extensive research and chose them based on several 5 star reviews.

Unless you enjoy being lied to, taken advantage of, having several of your items damaged, PACKING AND LOADING MOST OF YOUR ITEMS ON THE MOVING TRUCK YOURSELF (and getting injured in the process), and dealing with the utmost unprofessional people, do not hire this company. Details listed below:

-Their reservation specialist, [NAME EDIT], spent over an hour on FaceTime with me to obtain inventory of what we were moving, to create an accurate quote. She reassured me that the quote she gave was an over-estimate and that would be the MOST we would pay. However, on moving day, our quote was increased by their employee, [NAME EDIT], who told us we had more stuff than the 980 cubic feet estimate. He changed our quote to 1100 cubic feet, increasing our quote by $510.

-The day of the move [NAME EDIT] would not begin packing our things until we signed this new quote. Prior to moving day, we were told the movers would show up early in the morning to pack our things and move us out of our apartment (we had to be out of our apartment that day). They did not show up until approximately 1pm. Only 2 men showed up to pack & move our 2 bed apartment.[NAME EDIT] told us if we did not want to sign the new quote, “we could find another moving company to come and move us out”…. THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON! [NAME EDIT] told us after the truck was loaded, he would measure our stuff and show us that it took up 1100 cubic feet. When that time came, he wouldn't do this, saying it was too late but he reassured us that when our things were delivered in Chicago, the truck driver would measure our belongings on the truck.

-The day our belongings arrived in Chicago, 5 days after we were told we would receive them, the truck driver, who was not an Accurate Express employee, refused to measure our belongings and also refused to move anything off of the truck until we paid him the remainder of our quote in full.

*When I originally booked the move with Gina, she said Accurate Express does not subcontract out other moving companies and that every person involved in our move would specifically be an Accurate Express employee. When the driver arrived and was not one of their employees, it was just another example of how they misinformed us.

-Once we signed the contract with Accurate Express, almost every time we tried to contact any employees we got no answer or response.

-When booking the move, [NAME EDIT] told me that if we paid for packing, the movers would pack and move everything for us and “we would not lift a finger”. Because they showed up so late in the day & we had to be out of our apartment that day, my fiancé and I and 2 of our friends had no choice but to help pack our belongings and also carry most of our things out of the apartment and onto the truck. WE PAID FOR PROFESSIONAL MOVERS AND WE HAD TO HAVE 2 FRIENDS COME AND HELP US LOAD OUR BELONGINGS ONTO THE TRUCK BECAUSE ONLY ONE EMPLOYEE WAS DOING THIS AND WE WERE RUNNING OUT OF TIME.

*While carrying out our things, I threw my back out. I could barely walk and was in severe pain because I injured myself doing a job that we were paying Accurate Express to do!!

-The day our belongings arrived in Chicago, [NAME EDIT], the dispatch coordinator, told us that we could count the lines on the moving truck, and do the math to determine how many cubic ft our belongings took up.

*We took pictures of the truck and how much space our belongings took (7 out of 13 lines). According to the driver, it was a 26 ft. Penske truck. Based on Penske’s website, their 26 ft truck can hold up to 1700 cubic ft. If our stuff took up 7 lines, it equaled 915 cubic ft, not the 1100 cubic feet we paid for. We were told if we showed [NAME EDIT] the photo evidence, we would be reimbursed. Instead of reimbursing us the difference, he argued that it was 8 lines, which is simply untrue. He was supposed to call us the next day to resolve this and but hasn't.

** Since they charged $4.25 per cubic ft, and we paid for 1100 cubic ft, WE SHOULD BE REIMBURSED $786.25 for the difference of 185 cubic feet **

-Finally, after all of this, several of our items were damaged in the move and had to be replaced. Their insurance policy is 60 cents per pound. So for instance, if I made a claim, I would probably only be reimbursed a few dollars for my $550 bike that was damaged.

This entire process has been exhausting, upsetting and beyond frustrating. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIRING ACCURATE EXPRESS FOR MOVING SERVICES and I will certainly never do business with them again.

I want to thank this moving company for helping me out for to finish. I want to thank you guys for having great movers cents for helping me with a good quote and helping me from start to finish. I want to thank the sales representative that made it happen very easy. All of my items were replaced back how they were. Nothing was damaged. I will use this company in the near future and I'll recommend my family and friends this company.It was a great experience. The movers were motivated and stayed focus. I was very pleased with this job for all your help and for your service.

So I was moving down to Florida tfor my new job at the cruise ship ports in Fort Lauderdale. I had to move my 1 bedroom home and wasn't planning on driving everything down in a uhaul. So I called these guys up and next thing I know they showed up on time and helped with everything I needed. I went down to florida with my dog and then 2-3 days later I get a call saying the guy will be here with my stuff within the next 2 hours. These guys are great and I would highly recommend to everyone.

All I can say is that I'm truly impressed by the quality of service this great moving company did of a job. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made, because me and wife had very little time to find a decent company to move. Regardless of the money we just wanted to see if it was worth it with the full service, because on a move its very difficult to get people to take care of our items. They were really expensive things and sure enough it was taken care with proper care. I would rate this company a true 5 stars and I will commend and definitely will use again. Thank you guys.

First all I'm going to say is that it really difficult to fund a trust worthy mover and someone that you can trust. Me personally I was looking very hard to find a mover that wasn't going to get a scam out of me and trying to get a ridiculous price. While I was getting quoted by all these moving companies my friend recommended this company and it was the best decision I've ever made with a moving company. The service was 5 star. It was truly a good experience to work with this company. I thank them do much for their professional work.

Very pleased with the outcome move I’m very glad that I selected this company and decided to keep moving forward with them definitely a company that I really trust my wife we’re very pleased good to say that no furniture was her in the process very blessed to be working with this company other movies out there have bad workers that don’t really care of personal possessions but this one with the extra mile and make sure everything was on top , definitely great company.
